The glass is mouth-blown opal glass, formerly called milk glass. Commonly available in white color. Opal glass diffuses light softly, effectively and evenly. The surface of our glass is glossy, but can also be satin or matte.

Our popular school lamp is available in two lengths, long and short depending on the ceiling height. To satisfy anyone with a lower ceiling height than was common at the turn of the century 1900, we have developed a 15 cm shorter version.
