Description
Very solid handmade period outdoor lamp from the early 1900s. Common model throughout the country and in Europe. Also called stable lamp or stable lantern even though it was originally mounted on the main buildings themselves. Differs from the “Mill Lamp” in that it has no decoration on the lamp arm.
The frame is painted with black oil paint. White heavy enamel shade with blue border. Hand-blown glass cup.
