An interior window fitting of the trapdoor type, made of hand-polished brass. A common design throughout the first half of the 20th century. Very high quality. Also called window latch.

EUR15.40
Interior window fittings of the trapdoor type in hand-polished brass. The model, also known as window latch, is common from the mid-19th century to a few decades into the 20th century.
The unusual feature of our fitting is a completely smooth back, which means that installing the fitting does not require drilling and making holes in the sash. Therefore, the fitting is very easy to install. At the same time, the sash is horizontal in the closed position. On many of the old models, the boom is usually only almost horizontal.
Note also that the edges are beveled, as on the original fittings (there are other simpler “copies” on the market). The fitting is polished, but not lacquered, which means that the brass surface darkens naturally if you do not polish it.
Polished brass. Height 37 mm, length assembled 60 mm.
Suitable screw no. 6. (Not included)
