Collection and processing of personal data (2025-02-17)
Gysinge centrum för Byggnadsvård AB, abbreviated GCFB below, collects information about, among other things, your IP number, device type, location and technical data about the performance of your connection, device and visit. We always do our utmost to protect the personal data we process through adequate security measures in accordance with the GDPR.
How does it work?
When you visit our online store or click through to our newsletter, we use automatic data collection technology to collect certain information about your activities. This includes information about, for example, which products you click on and how long you stay on a particular sub-page. Why do we keep your personal data?
We use your personal data in connection with purchases to identify you, to process deliveries to you and to process payments from you. Your personal data is also confirmed with external parties, such as Klarna and shipping companies. Information about how customers behave on our website is saved to enable us to improve the customer experience and improve the performance of our website.
We also save your order details to:
- Be able to handle any warranty issues regarding products
- Be able to count on quotes for you
- Fulfillment of agreements and to be able to resolve any misunderstandings
- Be able to offer news, campaigns and inform about events via newsletters to those who have approved this
Where do we store your data?
We store your data in our online shop and in our ERP system if you have purchased online, or only in our ERP system if you have ordered manually by phone or by email. If you have emailed our customer service, we also store emails on our email server. Information about IP address and mobile devices, etc. is stored and processed in Google Analytics.
Who has access to your data?
We never forward, sell or exchange your personal information for marketing purposes to third parties outside of GCFB AB. Information forwarded to third parties is only used to provide our services to you.
How long do we keep your data?
We retain your address information for as long as you are an active customer. We retain your information for 36 months after your last purchase or contact with us. Written communications with our customer service are retained for 12 months. IP addresses are stored for 24 months from the date of your last visit to our online store.
Your right to erasure and restriction
You have the right to request that your personal data be erased or restricted if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of applicable law. However, we may have the right to refuse your request if there are legal obligations or other legitimate interests that prevent us from erasing certain personal data. If we are unable to comply with your request for erasure, we will block the personal data so that it is not used for any other purposes.
Right to data portability
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this data to another data controller.
