Svante Helmbaek Tirén – freelance writer and curator specializing in the history of architecture and decoration. He has worked with the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation for Public Benefit since 2009.

Sara Lundström – designer, craftsman and educator, and works at Handtryckta Tapeter. At the bottom she has art studies and an art teacher education from Konstfack.

Martin Olin – Associate Professor of Art History and Head of Research at the National Museum. Between 2013 and 2015 he was Deputy Director of the Swedish Institute in Rome.

Stina Odlinder Haubo – Bachelor of Arts and researcher and writes about furniture and interior design in journals and books, including the Royal Palaces Swedish furniture during five hundred years.

Mats Qwarfordt – wallpaper maker and runs the family business Handtryckta Tapeter. In November 2019, he was awarded the Royal Patriotic Society’s craftsmanship medal for excellent skill.

Lars Sjöberg – art historian, draughtsman, sculptor, graphic artist, writer and museum man. He was previously curator at the National Museum in Stockholm.

Ursula Sjöberg – art historian and wrote her doctoral thesis on the architect C.C. Gjörwell. She has been a curator at Kungl. Husgerådskammaren.

Erika Åberg – architectural antiquarian educated at the University of Gotland and the University of Gävle. She works with building conservation as a freelance writer and lecturer.

Wallpaper has been one of our most important wall decorations for centuries and in various forms. Attitudes towards wallpaper have changed over time, especially in recent decades, but today there is a strong and growing interest in wallpaper and the historic preservation of buildings.
