Lamp kerosene

Burner tubes made of specially tempered and heat-resistant clear glass for our kerosene lamps.

Clear glass. Round burner tube 6”’. Length 130mm, diameter 34 mm.

Traditional hand molded pillar candle. When the candle mass is hot, the branch candle is molded and shaped by hand. The long burning time and beautiful flame are the result of the right mix of stearin, paraffin, wax and wick yarn.

Comes in a nice white cardboard box from STHLMS Ljusstöperi with a traditional woven ribbon tied around the candle base.

The kerosene lamp is equipped with a round burner whose design is based on the patent of the Swiss Aimé Argand, where the richly perforated gallery and the airy design of the wick cone allow an abundant supply of oxygen that provides a very efficient combustion that results in a 6-15 times stronger brightness compared to lace wick burners.

Wall lamp from around 1800. Tin-plate lamps and sconces were common in many homes during the 18th and 19th centuries throughout Sweden. Often, like this one, they had a simple shape with a dotted pattern of beads and flowers.

Gives a pleasant glow with its tinted surface. One of the special features of this particular lamp is that when the light has burned down to a short stub, a shadow angel appears on the wall behind, with curly hair and wings that move when the flame flutters.
